LCS stands for Licenciate CS. It means a person who has passed the CS Final exams but has not done the 16-odd months training.
Here, the person has the option to choose between wether he wants to do training & become ACS/FCS or just remain LCS.
It is an interim & recognized degree.
But, unfortunately, there is no such interim degree in our CA Course!!!!!!!!!
If we had such an option, many wud not undergo articleship!!!!!!!!!!!!11
