if a joint family is included as a separte person ie as 'HUF'
then how will b the income of joint family of a muslim b assessed ?( it will b included in which of the 7persons of the ITAx act )

As per my findings HUF (Hindu Undivided Family) is being recognised by the Indian Income Tax Act as a separate from its member and given the status same as the Individual person.
Inconnection with the Muslim family,Indian Income Tax has not recognised it as HUF.
And point to be noted that only Hindu's can form the HUF.
I have said what ever I know.

as you have mentioned that apart from hindus; sikh,,jain & buddhist are also included for the HUF the reason behind is that they are considered as Hindus and in past they also used to form the family business same as other hindus.
