I got my PAN while in Defence Services and was posted in Delhi. I had been posted/ filing my returns in several places all around india with same Zigmo Ward/Circle/Range (which i never understood) everytime and from any goegraphic location.
Now I've left Services and Joined SBI and posted in Meerut. What will be my new Zigmo (Ward, Circle, Range)... please advise. thanks
Go to www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and after enteringin ur account click on know ur jurisdictional AO...u will get to see ur ward/range/circle.

u can search the ward in income tax india .gov.in or ask local pro where salary file of person working in SBI or any other will be filed as ward in case of salary return is based on company name and place of work
If u have permenantly decided to settle in new place den u have to write a letter to income tax department of delhi of original jurisdiction that now u have decided to shift permanently so make changes in ur address also in their records and intimate u about new AO Jurisdiction.
