HEY GUYS AND SENIOR MEMBERS,

I Want To Do Industrial Training In Mumbai as my last year of articleship is pending, my final attempt is due on NOV 2010. i had a conversation with my principle for increasing the stipend, currently i am getting 2000 as a stipend,he asked me to join other firm or company,as i work under a sole proprietor their is no much scope of work here and he also agrees with me.i cleared pcc this june.i want to learn more and do work on a larger scale so plz advice me regarding this.My article ship completes on 26/09/2010

should i join other firm ?

or stay with my principle for another 1 year?

can any one tell me wht is the procedure for undertaking industrial training & wr do i get to know abt such vacancies?

One of the very important thing is study leave for your final exam which you can easily get if you will continue your current firm.

If you will go for Industrial Training, you will get good exposure in corporate world and will learn corporate culture but you will not get more than 15-20 days leave for your exam.

If you will join any medium size firm then you will get good exposure in audit as well as taxation but confirm your exam leave before joining them.

Look at your areas, what you have learnt, what else you want to learn and how much study you have completed. Take these things into consideration while taking decision to change.
