Is it possible of waiver of late fees under service tax , if i have filed
my ST 3 Return after due date and liable to pay a penalty of Rs. 20000 .
So, what should i do for waiver of the same

AS I FILED SERVICE TAX RETURN FOR Q1 (APRIL-JUNE) 2017
I FILED WITH INTEREST & PENALTY FLAT RS 20,000
ADVICE TO FILE WITH PENALTY
In Case my tax liablity is below Rs. 20000 then what is its implications
| Waiver of Penalty | No Waiver – Penalty could be dropped on grounds of reasonable cause u/s 80. | Complete waiver if service tax + Interest is paid within 30 days of date of service of notice. | Waiver of 85%, if Service Tax + Interest + 15% Penalty is deposited within 30 days of service of notice. |
| Relaxation in Penalty after the order. | No relaxation | 75% penalty is waived if Service Tax + Interest is paid within 30 days of the order. | 75% penalty is waived if Service Tax + Interest + 25% Penalty is paid within 30 days of the order. |
there is no such provision as you said
i received a notice on 20 th of may.
So, now can we file a return along with interest..
or pay a penalty as as per your explanation given above says if we pay a service tax and interest within 30 days there may be possiblity of waiver
