its difficult to answer. Sridhar's book is more theory oriented. So you need to put in a lot of effort to understand it. But in the end, it has better concepts. Bala & Ram's book is comparatively more sums oriented, and teaches you how to solve sums better.
Sridhar's book has more sums, but unfortunately, they are mostly given at the end of chapter, with few examples in between book sections for explanation. The other book has lesser number of sums, but they are more arranged within the chapter itself.
I havent read Taxmann's book, but on the face of it, it looks fine, good format and presentation, and has got positive reviews.
Just flip through any chapter to know your forte and inclination.
