Case 1: Is Voluntary Registration open currently? or we have to wait till 1st July 2017?
Case 2: Whether those who are currently not registerred under VAT/Excise/Service tax , but have not registration under respective acts can directly register under GST?
1. Wait for implementation of GST.
2. Yes, but may be from next month.
Here is your answer :-
a) You have to wait for the 1st july or may be 21st june 17. New registration will be opend after the 20th june 2017. right now only conversion process has been started and window will be closed on 15th June 2017. so all the new taxpayer assesee will apply for the fresh GST Registration only after the implenment of the gst.
b) yes they can register under the new fresh GST Directly even in the New GST they can apply for the voluntary registration.
