I think i've raised a question which is not probably approapriate to put on this board. Is it so?
I really need this issue to be solved, please help me somebody
The One Says:

My old friend free what are you trying to ask?

Income can exempt how can expense be exempt.

If you pay an amount to migrate to another country that payment is an expense for you ...... please clarify what you want to know .....
Thank you my dear frined,
I want to know, whether the expense of approx. Rs, 1 Lack which i've made towards the Visa Application fee, can be deducted from the final PROFIT AMOUNT In other word can it be termd as business expence or like that, especially when the visa application is for "SKILLED MIGRATION".
The One Says:

Applying general logic only those expenses can be deducted which directly or indirectly can be attributed to the generation of income.
Let's apply other logic:
Sometimes it may happen:

you invest more in your business to get more profit, but ultimate result may not give fruitful result. In that case, you are eligible to get expenses deduction from total profit.
in my case i see the visa is for getting more job opportunity, although the positive result can be enjoyed in other country. But what i mean to say is the investment of visa application fee is for my personnal professional benifit only. Then in that case i'm of the opinion that the this application fee should be deductible from taxable income. What is your valued opinion?
The One Says:

When you make investment in a business to earn income and the business produces loss the investment can be directly attributed to the business. Its the same logic isn't???

Another aspect here is you are not earning income that can be taxed in India (presumably) - where income is not taxed there can be no expense that can be deducted therefrom.

Other views are as always welcome.
But But but,
I've the only way to invest this amount remaining in this country only.

I can earn the income in future after few years of good experience got there in other country. This can be the base for getting deduction from income, is my view is o.k.?
The One Says:

I think free my friend you are confusing two issues here ie business and profession they are not the same although taxed under the same head. I will need more facts to comment on this situation though.
Sorry dear to mame it confusible
Let me be more specific:
Being a civil engineer, i have made a visa application as 'Skilled Migrant" to australia.
What is the solution now to my question? Especially when i want to come to india back after getting experience of 5 years in Australia
Now wheter i'm eligible to make this expence of visa pplication fee deductable from final taxable amount?
The One Says:

I don't think you can claim this as a deduction - but its better if you consult a professional with entire details.
