Yes, but suggestion is to keep his modules only for reference ... Prepare your own notes for DT revise as much as possible. For practice of practical questions T N Manoharan is the best option.
Vinod sir modules are not exam oriented.

i am a student of vinod gupta and no doubt he is a great teacher
but not exam oriented
if u wish to secure good marks in exams ......
then buy the book written by till date highest marks getter in ca final exams .. shri vineet sodhani ...
he has wrote book under the publications of Aadhyaas
and it is popularly called as bangar book .... for idt is is the best seller
for dt too .... it is really awsome .....
for your knowledge vineet sodhani had scored 94 in DT and till date he is the highest marks getterin ca finals in india
if u find that book not good
my suggestion would be to follow VG sir;s notes but arrange notes on those topics which are not included by VG sir in his notes but which come in exams.

Vinod\ Gupta notes are no doubt the best from knowledge and concept clarity point of view and once u have his modules there IS NO NEED OF ANY TUITIONS , NOT EVEN his, tuitions may add value in terms of discipline or spoonfeeding what is already there however if u want 2 save time like i did, self study form his modules is THE BEST.
HOwever u must follow the following techniques to make the study from V.K.GUPTA productive from exam point of view:
1. Keep his SUMMARY MODULE as the BASE BOOK FOR REVISION before exams, and while studying before exams read the main modules (keeping summary module side by side) , solve all the illustrations and read everything. You`l realise ALL important matter and case studies has been given in the summary module so no need to make separate notes. However some chapters\portions may not be there in Summary module so just make notes only of those portions and paste it to the summary module.
2. While reading individual modules for first time, mark important \ conceptual \ challenging problems\examples which you think is necessary, beetter still highlight it with a light colour highlighter pen, which u think you will refer later.
3. The above two ways you`l refine the notes and at the end of your first study you`l have two things :
a) SUMMARY MODULE , supplemented with extra notes etc which will now become the base of your further revisions
b) MARKED \ HIGHLIGHTED selected exapmples\problems which will now be the selected probs\examples you`l refer next time
In this way after the first study all the modules will be eliminated and only the SUMMARY MODULE and Marked Problems will now became the base of your studies and further revisions.
This way you can make the most of the V.K.MODULE without worrying about the voluminous size!
I did this and it worked for me !! Before the exams i`d just one Summary Module (made thicker with my own notes) and few selected probs\examples 2 revise...... not all the modules.
Many students make the mistake of studying from the modules directly and beore exam revising from the summary...... u can never revise from a new place a day before exam. So as i suggested, make all your notes 2 the summary module and use it to learn the provisions direct.
Hope it works out for yall of You!
