very..very..urgent query plz

im doing cs executive programme....i came to know dat if we get 60 marks in a subject.....we get exemtion...but if we are absent for other precceding subject in same group in examination...will exemption granted for subject wich crossed 60...or cancelled becoz of absentism in other exame of same group.....plz clarrify my doubt...............................
