But this is giving problem in ITR V.
In ITR V it is appearing like this...'I X s/o Y holding PAN no, AAAFP0000X...................' which is a wrong statement.

hi sir,
You are filing the return for the firm..... but not for the Partner(s)...
So, the PAN Number you entered in the verification part will display in ITR - V
It means the PAN Number is relating to the Firm only

Dear Sir,
this varification clause is for Induvidual assessee.
we can consider this as a mistake of IT department also.
and
also if you will read the whole Verification than at last you will find out, "I am making this return in my capacity as PARTNER and ..........
mean he/she is signing as a PARTNER. so there should be his/her PAN no.

Dear Sir,
In the verification portion of firm's return, there shouls be PAN of partner as he is signing in the capacity of partner. so it should be his PAN only & not form's PAN.
