verification of PAN

Dear friends,

kindly let me know about verification of PAN through internet.

if we have only PAN no any other details available.

Just go to the departments website for making onlne payment of taxes and enter the PAN number and all other data as if you were paying the tax. After you press the submit button the next screen will tell you name of PAN holder as per database and also ask if you want to continue. Just copy the name and paste as it is in a notepad file. It is helpful to populate the name in TDS returns exactly as per the data with IT databse. Then the chances of mismatch are minimised.

you can see the full name of the PAN holder if you have the PAN no.

Just go to online portal for payment of tax and fill in the particulars. (Even wrong particulars are OK)
before payment of tax it will show you the full name the way it is printed in the PAN card.
