VAT return

Hi Sir, one of our clients has his own Petrol and diesel Bunk, He is filing GST on regularly as Non GST outward supply but What about VAT is it mandatory to file VAT as well and even VAT 240

Since VAT is levied by state on petrol/diesel therefore VAT return is required to be filed as per state VAT rules.
