in West Bengal, its 13.5 % now...

The Goods which are taxable @ 12.5% under Schedule-CA of WBVAT Act, 2003, will be taxable @ 13.5% w.e.f. 15.11.2010

UP VAT RATE @ 13.5% IS CORRECT Notification No.KA:NI-2-307/XI-9(10)08 UP Act 5-210 order(57)2010 Dated 19.02.2010
