I intend to sell livestock such as birds and dogs. Also have plans to open a plants nursery. Is VAT applicable on selling of these items and is there are any formality to get these items from another state? I am from Bihar.

Thanks. I understand that sap plants are exempted from VAT as per the schedule. However, it does not clarify on birds and animals. Please provide more information.
