Mr Anchal Bhatia,
Generally,multiple registration by sole proprietors are not allowed,because such additional registrations are done by businessmen to avoid taxes only.In no state more than one registration under VAT Acts are issued for a single dealer.If the registering authority receives such infgormation of one dealer having two or more registrations he would issue a notice to cancel the additional ones and merge them with the first registration.
Similarly,under IT Act also such creation additional entities by one sole proprietor will be merged together.
