Vat & Entery Tax

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are starting to buy a product from Gujarat it is khakhara which comes under papad catageory, so this product is  VAT exempted in Gujarat. In karnataka when it enters what will be the VAT & entry tax imposed on it.

If there is no tax even here, how to prove to the check post officers & convence them so that the product is not held up unnecessarily.
