Maintiainng the commoditywsie details of purchases, deemed sale valu has to be arrived at by adding conversion charges if any and the element of profit, the VAT is arrived applying the rate of tax applciable for the relevant goods. Important books of accounts to be maintined for this are purchases, stock books etvc.,among others.
