if there is loss in valuation of closing stock of investment. Hence no transaction occured during the year, the Value of closing stock remains same as opening stock. As per valuation of investment, loss is occured . what will be the treatment regarding this ?

Such loss can be routed through P&L .......but the same to be added back while tax computation ...and even in book profit calculation the same to be added back as per Expl to Sec 115JB....
