User ID does not exist

I have already registered in the Income Tax site and filed my previous year returns. But now i forgot password and tried to reset. When i entered PAN as user id a message "User ID does not exist" is showing.

Kindly assist me to sort this out.

You can try again..(Assure you enter right PAN no.)
or check your PAN status..It's Active ?

Check if you're caps lock might be off
you can try and yup as @ sagar patel ji says please check your status if it is active or not

Thank you for your response.

Again the same message is showing. Now i verified the PAN and its shown as "PAN is active but the details are not matching with PAN database"

So, whether i should register again?
