Its nice that ur following the currency pairs from ur articles period. GOOD.
u should look at the currency from global aspect. Globally the major pair is EUR/USD.
Now Eventhough USD is under rated, the situation in Europe is far more worse than in US thanks to the "Sovereign debt Crisis" becoz of which Usd is more stronger than euro.
Therefor USD will get appreciated against any pair as it is stil a safe haven from different ppls point of view.

Thank u so much Sir, I havent been following the Euro..but i have observed that Globally its been very few ecomonies that have been Buying on USD such as India during this crisis ...That to at a time when our economy is outperorming most of the other economies..
With the High Interest Rates and Fall in price of Crude Globally is it still viable to buy on USD?... Are we encouraging Exports?

Well u think alot :)
There are many perspectives. Taking a few as examples
Ofcourse the below things apply when every other thing remains the same.
(i) When there is any problem in ur family, u guys look up to ur father right ?
In the same way, when anything happens in the Economy, USD is the currency which every country looks for.
So it never loses its value coz it is the most demanded currency.
(ii) Our country buys USD in order to maintain stability in the market.
If it doesn't do so, then all the Companies which depend on exports will get wiped out because of lower USD rates.
There is alot to study about the markets, dont worry Start slowly and u'll know everything. :):):)

Chakravarthy.

Creating a Checklist or ‘to-do list’ helps to ensure consistency and completeness in carrying out a task. Becoming an NRI is a major transition which definitely needs a checklist. Here is a personal finance check list to be taken care before departing from India.
