my handwriting and presentation seems to be very good with the use of gel pens... can i use gel pens in exams too.... is there any problem in using such pens in exams????... even the colour of such ink is skyblue,,, does it will create any problm??????????

U can use gel pen in exam.....!!!
Examiner looks for answers and not the presentation while checking papers......!!!

i knw what u said.... but better presentation will impress the examiner to some extent ,,, that for sure....which will fetch u some marks in addition to what he normally puts

Black and blue colours allowed in exams not others colours such red , green etc.

V can use Gel Pen but there is 1 disadvantage as compared to ball pen that with gel pen our writing becomes slow so paper bhi chhut skta hai

Hey Use Ink pens......
U can write Faster using ink pens only...
Any way using gel pen doesn't matter for the examiner...

thanks for the replies..... writing fast.... i think when i use ball pen and other ink pens,my handwriting gets little streaky... thats y im using gel pen... im used to gel pens and can write faster with it .... i thought that i should make it clear that i can use the gel pen in exams.. thats y i askd.. eventhough its seems to be a silly matter.... any way thanks for everyone who replied to my post....

Hi Manjit,
U can use Gel pens in the exams but that should be ANTI FADING. As far as I know ths comes in with the UNIBALL Gell Pens only. I am not marketing these pens but it is the fact that only in case of these pens ink does not used to fade.
In case of other gel pens ink fades as the quality of paper provided in the exams is not so good.
If u use a pen whose ink has a tendency to fade, in such a case ur answersheet will look very bad and clumsy typres as matter written on the either sides would overlap each other.
So either use Uniball or a good quality Ball Pen.
One more thing use only that pen in the Exams with which u had practiced ur preparations.
