I worked as teacher in US and i am receving "Social Security Benefit" and at present i am a residen of India. The said "Social Security Benefit" is being credit to my Bank A/c in india on which TDS is being made.

My Qurry is wheathr the US pension/social security benefit is taxable in india keeping in view of my present status being resident in india. If taxable wheather i will have relief of tax paid at US

Yes , you can avail benefit of tax treaty between india and USA under double taxation avoidance agreement.

Yes, US pension and social security benefits are taxable in your hands. And you can claim relief of the taxes paid by you on the same income in US.

As per DTAA between India and US person can avail the benefit of Section 90/90A as applicable.
