What does " 2/10 net 90 " mean in case of paymnet of contract amount????

Dear,
2/10 net 90 means
90 days credit period is allowed to customer/ client...
& If payment is made within 10 Days.....Then 2% Discount is to be given.
This term is very useful in Finance.
