Please help on following issue:

While filing Interest amount in Central tax column same amount automated fill in State Tax coloum

How to solve our interest amount is different for example

CGST 25
SGST. 100

How to enter interest
amount

How can Interest change in CGST and SGST column, it will always be the same. May be the IGST interest will change from CGST and SGST.

No Ma'am how can interest same for example if

CGST liability is Rs. 100 after availing CGST & IGST input &

SGST liability is Rs. 50 after availing SGST input

So interest calculate on Rs. 100 for CGST & Rs. 50 for SGST

Hi Jatin,

In your case, the Interest amount cannot be changed with regard to CGST and SGST. You just add the Interest amount which is higher inorder to avoid future problems.

It is because you never know how the department people raise queiries. In future, if you don`t want any problems - so I suggested on higher Interest between the two CGST and SGST.
