URGENT QUERY

im doing cs executive programme....i came to know dat if we get 60 marks in a subject.....we get exemtion...but if we are absent for other precceding subject in same group in examination...will exemption granted for subject wich crossed 60...or cancelled becoz of absentism in other exame of same group.....plz clarrify my doubt.......

IF I APPEARED IN EXAM...N GOT MARKS ...LIKE THIS...

GCL---62

COSTING---"ABSENT"

TAX LAWS---68

WILL I GET EXEMPTION IN THAT 2 SUBJECTS ...IF I WAS ABSENT IN COSTING PAPER...PLZ CLARIFY

BUT ACTUALLY I CANT ATTEND COSTING EXAMINATION.....

SO IT IS NEEDLESS TO ATTEND OTHER EXMAS ALSO IF I MISS ONE EXAM IN ONE GROUP... IS IT RITE MY DEAR FRIENDS...??????????

OR ANY OTHER SOLUTION?

A candidate who obtains more than 60% of marks in any paper or papers and a minimum of 25% of marks in all the remaining papers of that module in which he has appeared shall be exempted from appearing in that paper in the subsequent examinations.

The candidate is required to obtain a minimum of 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in the total of the remaining subjects of the module in the subsequent examinations.

An Attempt

Say a student has obtained the following marks in an examination

I - 65, II - 35, III - 30; Total = 130. [Aggregate < 50% → Fail]

Since the student has got marks 7ge; 60% in Paper I and has also got the minimum required in other papers i.e. ≥ 25% in Papers II and III, he/she will be exempted from appearing in Paper I in the subsequent examinations.

In the next exam the candidate is required to appear only in papers II and III and get a minimum of 40% and aggregate of 50% (total of 100) in the papers II, and III together.

Next Attempt

Say the student has obtained the following marks in the subsequent exam

Case 1
The student may obtain marks required to pass the examination.

II - 54, III - 58. Total = 112. [Aggregate ≥ 50% → Pass]

IF I WAS ABSENT FOR AN EXAM IN GROUP 1--AND IN REMAINING TWO PAPERS IF I GET 60 ABOVE ...WILL I GET EXEMPTION EVENTHOUGH I WAS ABSENT IN ONE PAPER...
