You should be referred V.K. singhania bcoz it contain o lot of numberical questions for pratice.

 V.K.Singhania for numerical problems and Ajay jain for thoery.

Dont forget to refer the publication of ICAI  it gives marks on latest amendments and case laws...

Refer Ajay Jain Sir's book, i have scored 65 by selfstudy from same.

I have also scored 61 marks from AJAY JAIN SIR BOOK .

yup TN Manoharan is nice......but u know wat dear.....dont go with Tax chapter-wise during revision...

do it like u will get those questions in exams,like 1st question from a chapter,say salary,,nxt from HP,next PGBP....like dis,dats d best way to revise quantum syllabus with minimal efforts

From my expereince i'll suggest u to use T.N MANOHARAN only. To the beginers it is very easy but only problem is v'll nopt be able to know what r v supposed to study from the big book......................Book is good for numerical problems n also for service tax n vat again this is the best book...............ALL THE BEST

manohran is best book for u for understanding subject and scoring good mark also
