Partnership firm planning to dissolve as on 31.03.11 what are the procedures? And what documents submit to sales tax dept. or IT Dept. or Registrar of firms etc.? please kindly confirm…

make a registered deed 1st for dissolution of partnership, get it registered within 15 days of effect.
after dissolution, send copies to concerned departments,
make P/L a/c, balance sheet on the date of dissolution, u have to get the same assessed by all laws incometax/ vat/ profession tax and meet the liability if any, they will do it in shortest time possible.
with the copy of deed of dissolution u can apply for deletion of name from firm registration , surrender of PAN
