I wanted to enquire whether Accounting Standards 30 , 31 & 32 are applicable to C.A Final (Old Course) students due to appear in May 2010 Examinations? Please reply at the earliest , Thanks in advance.

Refer January students Journal if needed its clearly mentioned.

Here is the Journal...
AS 30 becomes recommendatory from 1.4.09. As per as 30, the following guidance notes becomes withdrawn from the date on which this as becomes RECOMMENDATORY(Not mandatory)
1. Guidance notes on gaurantees & Counter gaurantees
2. Guidance notes on a/c for derivatives
3. Guidance notes for mutual fund
4. Guidance notes for Debt securitisation
This means that ICAI can certainly ask questions covering in above areas - thereby implying that as 30 can be very much expected in this exam.
