Urgent - articleship discontinuation

Hi Friends....

Its a bit urgent...

I am an article and have completed 1 & half year i.e from Apr 12 to till date and now i want to discontinue the same due to some personal reasons for a period of 8-10 months and want to rejoin after the stipulated period.

I am aware my final eligibility & article completion date wil be postponed to such extent, but no issue...

Just want to know whether i can quit now & rejoin after 8-10 months.
