Hi friends pls help me im in deep troubles and need little push.
I have to write CA final in May 2010 6th time both groups.as i dont have any confidence and not prepared at all my ca final due to office and Family committments.my request is pls advice me how to give best attempt in May 2010. Till now i studied in Old Syllabus and May 2010 i need to write in New Syllabus. Actullay speaking i left CA in 2009 May Finally but some how i changed my mind and want to clear CA.i even missed 50th Rank in by 4 marks in PE2 May 2005.
This is time im expecting Atleat 50th Rank in May 2010 attempt and get my confidence back.
I mentally decided to clear CA in May 2010. Im working professional i can spend 4 Hours a day and 8 hours on week ends.
i request all brilliant CA Club viewrs pls advice me for what to do and how to start and which books to read. Im going to join classes which i have took in May 2007.
Plz advice me.

Auditing Subjects
IDT and MICS

Very weak at
MAFA
Cost mgmt especially QT

i can manage other subjects.

Friends pls advice me how to start to reach my goal...

Dear Ramashanker,

First of all i want to say that where there is a will there is a way. You have to change your mind, plz don't down yourself. like you i m also a working profeessional and will appearing in final exams in upcoming nov, and till date i m in the office. There are lot of things that make hurdles in our carrer. But don't let down your dreams, coz ur success makes many people happy i.e. U, ur family & all your loved ones. So, Plz don't think otherwise. I had cleared my first group of final while on service. When I can then why you can't.

hi buddy. dont loose hope.first of all stay motivated. picture urself clearing the exams. picture urself how happy u will feel wen u will have ur result in ur hand.have that moment in ur mind always. nothing is impossible buddy. i was a arts student nd first commerce exam i appeard in whole of my life was CA PE-2 accountacy paper.i got 47 in that paper nd in next attemt i cleard PE-2.so be optimistic.u. will only get wat u hold in ur mind.ALL DA BEST>

hey buddy dont loose heart.. i hav a friend who got 22 nd rank all india in pcc june-09 with prepration of just two months and a few days.... he did the whole course thrice in 2 months... as he says ca attempt can b done twice in two months, iwould suggest you to work sincerely in whatever little time u hav with u... dont loose heart.. u ll make it

Have focused on your goal, don't get depressed. You are having 6 months in your hand as you will be writing your exam in May 2010. Start your studies and be regular. As you said your weak areas are MAFA and Costing &OR. Refer

MAFA - S.D.Bala & Pattabhiram, this book is very very self explanatory and has explained the concepts in a very logical manner, for each and every concept even though small, they have explained with the good examples. Good number of sums have also been covered by this book.

Once you will get through this then refer Module (Only Problems), Compilation & RTP, thats enough.

Costing & OR - Refer Saxena & Vashist, excellent book for this subject. Once you are get through this then refer refer Module (Only Problems), Compilation & RTP, thats enough.

And most important thing - Practice all sums and don't just look at the solution otherwise you will not get mastery in these subjects.
