I have Exempted Costing & FM in MAy 2010 and then in Nov 2010 I secured 66 marks in PCE
For the PCE May 2011 exam i filled for IT SM only since Exemption is eligible for 3 attempts
Unforunatiely I got only 35 marks in IT & SM.......... bt ma results shows Absent for Taxation paper which was exempted in nov 2010
IS this wrong......???????? or my exemption is forfeited........????????

As per my knowledge u can claim only one exemption. If u get exemption in single sitting u can claim both, otherwise u can claim only one ie costing exemption since u have not surrendered it. Pls contact ur nearest ICAI branch
in my opinion it is better .
This incident happended with my friend in ca final too. according to icai u can claim only th exemption which u secured earlier examination in a particular group in ur case which happens to b may 2010.
