If an assessee was not registered under any previous laws but now comes under the purview of GST.
and therefore, he makes an application for registration but till now only ARN is received and no GSTIN..So can he do business with the help of ARN received to him.

and till what time can he received his GSTIN

I have also similar query .I have applied for gst practitioner on 2/07/2017 but till now only ARN no is received. How many days it will take for approval or password etc

after submitting gst form you can receive ARN NUMBER in 15 miniutes on your email address... if you can not receive ARN you check email and check any email received of rejection or mismatch if you not receive any email of rejection or mismatch ....don't worry you can receive ARN number...but you can check email daily in inbox or spam.....
