21 January 2012while preparing incometax return in form ITR-1 (SAHAJ) by down loading return preparation software from income tax website :
1. In salary head there is no space for filling the details of employer. is it OK to file return without emplyer's details?
2. In income from house property there is no deduction given u/s 24. Can i fill the rent received ( net of deduction)?
The answers to your query are as under:
1. The details of employer are to be filled in next sheet named TDS. There the details like TAN of employer, Name, Salary paid & tax deducted are to be disclosed.
2. The income from house property will be final amount net of all deductions & exemptions.
