Can any one tel , is der any possibility of knwing Co.'s TAN wit the help of PAN
You can visit 'incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in' and under the menu SERVICES, you will find the sub-menu FIND YOUR TAN....After filling the necessary fields, the TAN can be found out. But for that yu must know which state the entity (whose TAN is sought) belongs and its status also. Hope this helps you.

JUST GO TO SITE WWW.INCOMETAXINDIAEFILING.GOV.IN
SELECT THE APPROPRIATE CATERGORY OF ASSESSEE AND STATE IN WHICH TAN IS ALLOTTED. SECONDLY U MUST HAVE TO ENTER THE CORRECT NAME OF ASSESSEE AND THE CATEGORY OF ASSESSEE. IF U WANT TO SEARCH TAN NO. THEN JUST SELECT SEACH BY NAME AND ENTER CORRECT NAME. AFTER THAT SITE WOULD DISPLAYED U ALL THE DETAILS.
