We are Clearing Agents paying Freight, Haulage Etc on Import Clearance. Are we liable to deduct TDS on above payments.
Will situation change if the Cargo is for Exports of goods?

Dear Gopal,
To whom you are paying please explain clearly as you may be aware of the fact that TDS on contractors is deducted at NIL rate if they provide PAN number on their invoices. Please explain what you want to enquire so that appropriate reply may be suggested/advised.
