As per my research there are 7 types of car insurance viz. liability insurance, collision insurance, comprehensive insurance, uninsured motorist protection, medical/personal injury protection, no fault insurance and gap insurance. Also I would like to share that I have opted for Future Generali’s car insurance which have benefits like cover for any damage to your vehicle, protection from third party liability, personal accident cover, no claim bonus etc.
This is the most discussed topic on internet always. Car insurance services provides by health insurance companies who provides all the benefits for this. So, the thing is, if you buy basic car insurance plan so it will be okey, but be remembered, it doesn't cover any claim againest engine damage case . So what I suggest, Go for comprehensive car insurance plans which covers full car damage claim as well as engine damage claim also.
So when you buy car insurance policy, ask your insurance service provider, Is this policy cover any engine damage issue? They will definitely recommend you comprehensive car insurance rather than basic car insurance policy.
There are two types of car insurance policies namely – one that covers loss or damage to our own vehicle against accident, fire, lighting etc. Another that covers liability for third party injury or death and damage cause to their property.
