Two housing loans and HRA exemption

My friend is having two houses ( One in Chennai and One in Hyderabad) and both are under housin loan. Presently he is working in Hyderabad and he has taken rented house which was nearer to his work place. His two own houses were given let out and he is getting rental income on both houses.

Can he claim interest and principal exemption on both the houses. Also can he claim HRA exemption as he is staying in rented house.
