02 September 2010is there any rule as two calculator not allowed?
when two pens,pencils etc allowed then y two calcy are not allowed?
they didnt allowed me in my pcc attempt n now my final attempt due in nov 10.
they didnt allowed two calculator to my friend here in satara centra?
is it leagely allowed? (two calcy in exam hall?????????????)

Two calculators? Why do you need two of them. I am not really sure of the rule, but taking two calculators to an examination hall - sounds stupid to me.

hey if ur ca final student n have did ur studies of SFM n Costing then u can understand importance of two calcy in exam hall.
they are so many operations in single problem which can not be stored in m+,m- only.
its better to have 2calculator rather than writting each answer on roughwork paper...................thats too much time consuming...........
if u use two calcy it become very easy to solve prob................
thats y TWO calculators are needed...............

Why do we go with 2 pens in the hall? If one runs out of ink or doesnt work while writing our paper, we use the spare pen. Shouldnt we apply this logic to 2 calculators too? I had a calcy when i divided some number with 0, that bl**dy damn stopped working!!!! (cant remember the company's name)
All of you who are branding the poster as stupid are completely missing the point. You lot dont have any right to brand anyone with that glub smile.
I have always given my exams while having 2 calcys but didnt used them simultaneously as someone here suggested; examiners didnt stopped me either.

Hey agree with Rahim...
I also keep a spare calculator.. nobody objected till now... but using both simultaneously s not fair i guess.. cos v r allowed to use a 6 function, 2 memory calculator.. u cant make it 12 function, 4 memory!!

It's better u keep spare calculator in your pocket....it's a precautionary measure. Sometimes malfunction occurs in calculator. i usually take 2 calculators in exam hall. nobody has objected.. some other students are also bringing 2 calculators...

the que was it is illegal to hold two calcy in exams or not
why everyone discussing it's required or not..off course it is benaficial to have a spare Calc

i think by going thruough the exam rules attached with ur Admit Card, you can find the solution on ur own

I agree with Rahim views and I have taken two calculators of same model with the above logic only. Nobody objected it.

2 calculators are absolutely allowed. UNLESS one of them is scientific !!
2 commercial calci are totally allowd!!!!
