Tution fee

hi all,

whether we can claim the term fee as the tution fee

Because most of the schools are giving the tution as term fee on the receipt

If there is no bifurcation of Tuition fees & other fees then you can claim term fees as tuition fees

Yes, it is deductible. Any sum paid as Tuition fees (not including any payment towards development fees/donation/payment of similar nature) whether at the time of admission or otherwise to any university/college/education institution in India for full time education of any two children of an individual is deductible u/s.80C. It is subject to overall limit of Rs.100000/-.

yes it is allowed as deduction U/S 80C but it is allowed if it is full time education only (but it should not be building donations / other development fees)
