Can I claim fees for online classes for competitive exams as tuition fees deduction u/a 80C?

It is specifically stated in the act that only tution fees paid to school, University, colleges are allowed as deduction.

Any fees paid to private coaching institutes are not allowed as deduction.

Therefore fees paid by you for online classes for competitive exams are not allowed as deduction of paid to any private coaching.

Only children tuition fees is allowed & not for the self tax payers online classes

THE EXEMPTION IS REGARDING CHILDREN TUTION FEES.
NOW IF MR.THAKKAR IS STUDENT THEN IT IS OK.

U can't claim your tution fee, U can claim only your children's tution fee

If online classess are for children then you may claim tuition fees..

Only children's tuition fees are exempted provided there certain conditions are fulfilled.

Thank you very much to all of you for your replies. I have taken online classes for competitive examination. I want to know whether I can claim fees for the same as deduction u/s 80C from my income?
