can any one explain :-

when it is applicable ?
what is the treatment for INPUT UTGST ?
how it is Set-off

If your Place of Business is in any of the union territories (having its seprate Legislation) UTGST and CGST will be charged if the place of supply is within the union territory.

UTGST will be setoff first from balance credit of UTGST and further IGST. Credit of UTGST cannot be claimed from CSGT.

Mr Sush*t, Delhi and puducheri also have their separate legislation so by your logic they will have to charge utgst.....I don't agree with that as in utgst act it is clearly written that union territory are chandigarh, daman and diu, dadra and nagar haveli, lakshadvip and andaman and Nicobar....only these five ut are deemed ut under utgst act, hence intra state transaction of only these ut will be subject to utgst......
