If a person is purchasing scrap and then extracting Aluminum through a process using Machinery. What is the treatment of the same under GST. Does it gets covered under Job work.

Job work includes at least two person Ie Principal & Jobworker & the Goods on which jobwork is done belongs to principal . So in your case it's Manufacturing Activity
