i am salaried person . my gross salary 360000
received by organisation over and above salary
do I need to add total traveling allowance received during the year to Gross salary income?
is there any exemption for traveling allowance where do I need to mention to claim for exemption ?

Traveling allowance exempt on the basis of actuals.. u need to produce tickets and travelling bill for exemption.

in our organisation it is policy that for half-day trip 260 is paid while for a day long trip 400 is paid so I need not to.produce fuel bill etc so what I have to do ?

u can claim exemption on the basis of actual amount spent on fuel.
