Travel allowance
if an assesse got 9600(800*12) from employer as a travel allowance for financial year 15-16 ,whether he can claim 1600*12=19200 as a deduction

in case of transport allowance---1)amount of allowance ,or
2)the amount specified in rule 2BB,
whichever is lower.
so you can claim upto 9600 .
