As 60% credit of SGST is allowed to traders on transitional stock, kindly clarify as to how the benefit is to be passed on to the customer.
Is the benefit to be shown in invoice or otherwise ?
60% credit allowed only if tax rate is 18% or higher. Benefit to customer will be passed in terms of same or reduced prices. the 60% credit is not to be reflected in invoices, it is for your return purpose only. Invoice should contain the tax as per applicable rate.
