Do i need to take permission of my principal to take a transfer in the first year of my articleship according to the new rules of ICAI..????
does my and my principal's consent should be same in order to take a trnasfer...???
and if my principal is not allowing transfer in the 1st yr of articleship, can i still take a transfer as per new rule of ICAI..????

Hi friends I have taken transfer by filling up Form 109 and when i asked whether to attach any documents with form 109 at the institute's counter they said "Not Required".
But now I went through the announcement (https://icai.org/resource_file/19592announ10698.pdf)
I came to know "Request for transfer not accompanied by consent of Principal shall not be
accepted."
What should I do ?? Should I submit the consent letter separately or anything else ?

can anybody exactly tell me the procedure for transfer ??? im confused...whether to submit the consent letter ? when to submit 109 ? n then when to submit 103 again ? plz help !!

I have cleared the confusion in my case as stated above....
Simple step for Transfer if u r within ur first yr of articleship..
Take Form 109 and get it signed by ur principal and submit to institute
Letter of Consent is required at the time of Re registration of articleship with another CA Firm and is not needed atthe time of submitting Form 109 ( For Transfer)

ok thanks...but neways while registering under another CA firm,u wud hv posted the consent letter na alongwith 103 ??

yes consent letter is required by the new firm for their satisfaction and i guess u need to submit a copy of it with form 103 also ..
so just get the consent letter also while geting form 109 signed

the format can b as folows, i have used the same
"This is to inform that Mr. XYZ (Student Registration No. WRO 12345632),
a student of CA Final, was working with us from October 30th, 2009 till October 4th, 2010, and has opted for Transfer of Articles as per amended rules of ICAI regarding Transfer of Articleship (Announcement Dated July 2nd, 2010), that is, within the first year of Articleship Training and that the said Transfer has been mutually agreed to and is as per ourconsent."
