Transfer of articleship

Sir I am currently in my 2nd year of articleship in Kolkata. I am living in a PG. However due to some reasons I have to go back to my home town which is more than 50kms from Kolkata. Please guide asap and oblige. Regards

When you are in the second year of articleship, transfer is permitted only on selected grounds. See the guidelines, identify which ground fits for you, and register with a CA near to your home town.

if already taken transfer in 1st year can i take transfer in my 2 nd year for better exposure

There is no rule saying transfer is permitted only one time,you can take second time also, but it is very very advisable not to opt for 3 firms in 3 years, you may face many difficulties in the future, unless it is soo crucial dont take transfer again.

Thanks Sir.

However one of the condition says that a person can take transfer provided the students parent/s have to transfer to another city. Because I am staying alone in the city, is this condition suitable for me???
