Transfer of Articles

DEAR RAMU

IT IS A VERY HARD DECISION TAKEN BY INSTITUTE REGARDING TO TRANSFER OF ARTICLESHIP.

YOUR SON CAN TAKE TRANSFER ONLY IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES:

1) HIS WORKING PARENTS HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED FROM CHENNAI TO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THE CITY IN WHICH HE IS TRANSFERRED HAVING DISTANCE MORE THEN 50 KMS.

2) IF HE CONVERTS PCC IN TO IPCC

JUST KEEP IN MIND THAT NO APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED IN CASE OF REMAINING TIME IS 6 MONTH IN COMPLETION OF ARTICLESHIP.

IT WILL BE BETTER TO COMPROMISE WITH THE SITUATION

I AM TOO SUFFERING WITH THIS SITUATION.

Yes as above sir said its true that we need to atleast enquire or should commit ourselves to go in hell for 3 years.....

 Mr. Ramu....... I can only say is that wait till new president assumes the office of ICAI ( the only hope). Before that it is very difficult to find solution to ur problem becoz these days CA's r misbehaving having given enormous power to them.I pray that the new President must abolish this "NO TRANSFER RULE".  

Dear all... can any1 tell the president's email i.d. where we can put our suggestion/problems directly to president?????

there is one amensty plan is there, can transfer once in a life time of articleship.... but beware that, don't jump into another big pit from a small pit.

There is no amnesty plan. That was for old applications for transfer recd b4 jul 11

u shud take any step only after considering d ICAI rules, b calm & do as per rule

Ramu Sir...... This is a severe problem. Transfer rules have been made very rigid. What ur son can do is be calm, quitting is not a good idea. Hope the new President bring some relief to all suffering articled assisstants.

Dear sir,

For the better future of your child, he must tolerate the remaining  time till the transfers are allowed.

I dont understand why the institute is making the life of the articles a living hell.

1.  There is no power with article and all the powers are given to the chartered accountant.

2. Articles are required to work for 35 hours a week and 48 hours in case of emergency but most of the CA's are making their articles sit in the office for more than 48 hours every week and no credit is being given to the articles.

3. As per institute we articles should be treated as a student, not an employee and our principal should be our teacher, not our employer but in most of the cases its reverse of that.

Our institute is not taking any steps to improve these things rather its concentrating on non sense things like stopping the transfer of articles. Our institute has indirectly brought 'SLAVERY SYSTEM' In the life of the articles and we cannot do anything.

I intend to take transfer to another town more than 50 kms as my father is being transferred there and i have the transfer order a well, my query is what time it will take for the institute to approve my application as they had asked us to to permission prior to executing 102 , 103 and 109, if anybody has taken a transfer on this ground, please contact me

Kindly tell me the procedure to take the termination from articleship. No special grounds.
