You going to present a paper in a seminar or you are taking seminar in your college? By the way, the field of commerce is a very wide term. First, you inform us which area you are good in commerce, so that learned members can advice you better topic, that might suit you.

Accounts and taxation fields but our H.O.D told me to present any topic relating to financial management

In Financial Management you have variety of topics to choose namely Capital Budgeting, Working capital management, Financial markets, International Finance , Transfer Pricing, Forex etc.
